Losers... and I say losers meaning those people who might not quite fit. Those who don’t win and aren’t the most popular of the bunch. The people who constantly get shit on (and not just by other people but by the universe). Losers are usually more interesting. I want those quirky characteristics to thrive in your sims. Losers are sometimes so totally honest, and maybe even vulnerable, that it makes other people uneasy. We’ll call those uneasy people the winners (for lack of a better word). Some winners feel the need to pick on the losers because if they don’t, people might notice what assholes the winners actually are.

How to build your character.

You’re the loser and waaaay weird ... but you try! This contest isn’t about showing off how cool/popular/ great you are. Get your wheels turnin’ the other way. How much do you suck? How much bad luck can one sim have? How awkward can you be? Make us feel bad for you. I’m going for the ‘Awwwww!!’ factor. I’m looking for those American/Whatever Idol (like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) rejects you want to take home with you and put in your pocket. They are so cute they make your heart hurt. Your sim may not know they suck. How does that effect your ‘scene’ you’re building?

Your sim does NOT have to be ugly but of course the way they look is totally up to you.

Rules

Your excuse for being a loser MAY NOT be that you’re SHY. Shy is too easy.
Adult or Elder sims please..
Your sim may be male or female.
Be nice or you’ll be spanked (unless you like that sort of thing)
Please give this the time it deserves. Take a look at the dates this contest will run. Make sure you can commit.
No sim stealing(you know better)
You CAN use a sim that has been in another contest.

Each round will require you to create a scene. It’s totally up to you but should be pretty long in length. At least three pictures will be required but I’d like you to tell a story. Whether or not you have dialogue or discriptive passages is up to you. My judges and I will be expecting extreme creativity and lots of thinking out of the box. It’s your job to build the scene. I’d like you to think about these questions while you complete each round:

What kind of loser are you?
Are you socially awkward?
Are you super confident with absolutely nothing to be confident about?
Are you weird enough that your quirks prevent people from getting to know you because they can’t see past them?
Do you embrace your loser situation or do you hate it?
Try to change it?
How does your unique personality help or hinder you in your life?
What situations arise because of it?
How do you react to them?
Do you lie constantly?
Are you one of those people who has done/experienced/gone through exactly the same/better/worse situation as the person you're talking to?

What is new and interesting that can you bring to this round?

Don’t go for the obvious!!

(You don't have to actually write out the answers to these questions. Just have them in mind while you're building your scene. They'll help you if you get stuck )

I need to come up with a good sim/story but you KNOW I'm in! It works out well that I'm going to be internet-less this weekend and I'll be able to sit in bodyshop/in-game and work out my character without any distractions.
